Playwright-Composer-Lyricist

A graduate of Harvard and Yale Universities, with additional studies at Hebrew University and Bar Ilan University, Danny has combined a passion for education and the creative arts.  He has studied with Michael Walzer (political theory, Harvard), Robert Cover (law, Yale), Andre Hajdu (music composition, Bar Ilan), and Edwin Seroussi (ethnomusicology, Hebrew U.).

Danny is a lead educator and content producer for PJ Library, a program that sends free books celebrating Jewish values and culture to children in over 35 countries.  

 

Previously, he directed programs and production for Sesame Street, Nesiya Institute, Mandel Leadership Institute, JeMM (Jerusalem Multimedia Productions), and a series of educational start-ups. 

He has written on Israeli culture for The Jerusalem Report and reviewed books for Haaretz.
